A six-part workshop series on advanced manufacturing begins in October, delivered with the national Industry 4.0 centers and running through the first quarter. Each part is a working session rather than a lecture: participants bring a line, a process or a decision from their own plant and leave with something applied to it.
The series is deliberately sequenced. It opens on measurement, because a plant that cannot see its own throughput cannot evaluate anything offered to it, and closes on the business case, because that is where most transformation programmes in the region stall.
Places are allocated through the national centers. Manufacturers in member states without a national center can apply to the Center directly.
